My brother works for Allied Carriers, the car delivery people, he called me at 1AM last Thursday, they had just unloaded a 05 Mustang into their lot. Said it went straight to the inside storage area and no one got to check it out. 
Says it looks good from the other side of the lot.------------------

Whens the projected time to start seein' them on the road? Might have to be the first car I goto the the dealer to take on a test drive.

They are supposed to be available in September, I think.It's cool having a new car to look forward to checking out at the dealer. Every September used to be like this, now it's rare that September has something interesting. {Ford leads the pack, though, with Lightning, Cobra, Mach 1, Bullit, etc...} ------------------

We've been hassling for months to get a 2005 to display at our MCA show. We've finally got TWO.
From our numerous conversations with the Regional Ford reps and the marketing folks the 05 won't be available until November and will come with hefty dealer markups.But we have one dealer who has offered our club members the new pony at $800 over invoice. Too bad I'm holding out for the SVT model. J.

Brother called again last night, an even dozen are on the lot, none being shipped yet. He said I could come down and see them, but I can wait rather than lose a nights sleep.
