It is so tempting.

I'll probably wait till I've paid the '03 off, and then see what's available on the "higher end" of the spectrum. If I just keep making the monthly payments on my GT, it'll be paid up in June '07. By then, if there's supposed to be a Cobra out, it'll be a year old, and the whole platform should have any kinks worked out.

I think ultimately, I will wait a few years before buying one. I've got small mods planned for the '03, and I practically just bought it. It'll also give me a chance to save up a little more cash to put down on the new one.

Cobra?
Shelby?
Boss?
Maybe even Roush or Saleen.
One of the above (convertible) in '06.

I plan to get one, but it won't be when they first come out. I have to get my wife back to work first. Little ones are still little, so once they're in school, she'll go back to work and then I'll be in like Flynn! Should be about 3 years from now, just in time for the Boss 302!

My wife has given me the green light, but I'm waiting to see what they do with the Cobra. I'm really interested to see what they do with a Boss version.

don't think so, the new style hasn't grown on me like i thought it might. Maybe when we find what the aftermarket has planned for it, but i'm not a big fan.

Yeah, I finally got to see it in person while in Nashville. They had 3 there...a lime gold V6, the darker red GT, and a white GT. The white GT was doing laps on the track Saturday afternoon. Sounded pretty good.

I saw the concept cars in Dearborn, and the three in Nashville.
