All I've heard is that it's going to be based on the Lincoln LS chassis. This worries me b/c that car is so narrow and long. Anybody heard the same? Hope they at least widen it if so.

I'm an f-body guy but man this new '05 is just totally awesome if it doesn't turn out to be too skinny!

No worries. If you get a chance to see the prototype in person, you'll notice it's got a pretty wide stance. It's a modified version of the LS platform, dubbed the DEW-Lite.

And sorry to hear about the F-body.

LOL...

Well that's nice to know. If I ever get a decent job and things keep going like they are at GM, you won't have to be sorry too long

Is it just me, or does anyone else think it looks too "thick". I mean the door looks almost as tall as it is wide. I keep telling myself it's just the camera angle but every picture I see of the car makes it look very thick and fat. I just don't like it as much as some of the earlier drawings I saw. I think instead I'll just get a 69 MachI....

You are probably right, the SN-95s are like that.

In person, the proportions look ok.
