I'm a life long Ford guy through and through...let's get that straight. always will be. BUT..anyone else feel a little ripped off that Ford (as a $$gazillion dollar company) refuses to do anything new but refresh 20yr old designs with new marketing schemes. Now we have an old(new) T-bird, the mustang (which is both my car and car of choice) went back to the beginning and now looks like a '69, there's a "forty-nine", etc.... It's almost as if they either don't have new ideas or are saving money by not developing new ideas and are simply going through what's been done. Personally, I feel ripped off by the company that I associate my life long love of cars with. (Not to mention that when you get in a $60,000 Suburban it feel like you're in a palace and when you get in a $60,000 Expedition it's the exact same as an F150. Hope I don't offend anyone here...just an observation from a fellow ford enthusiast. Steve

It's a matter of market research and giving people what they want. Their target market want cars like that, not ricey space ship units. You saw where the GM F body ended up with their grotesque pseudomodern designs. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com

I actually like the idea of "retro" styling. I've been complaining for years that I miss the days when cars had personality. I was tired of seeing all makes and models looking like each other. when I was just a little kid riding in the back seat of my parents car, I could call off makes and years, but as the years pasted and all the cars looked the same, I got increasinly frustrated. I think the new mustang looks very cool, and also that they're bringing back the wider grill again.
