I remember my 74 V6 having a front valance. Did the 1976 4 cylinder have one too? I don't recall seeing one when we took posession of it a few weeks ago. It is still in the body shop getting more beautiful.------------------ 69 coupe 76 mustang 11 MPG 2001 Bullitt GT

All Mustang IIs came with a front valance, with the exception of the King Cobra (I think) which came with an air dam. The Cobra II spoiler attaches to the valance. The valance is a pretty rare item to find, but from my understanding they are being reproduced. I need to replace mine as the front spoiler is actually holding mine together.

I replaced the one on my 75 Mustang Ghia with a fiberglass valance/spoiler from Mustangs Unlimited .Part # X1033 at $94.95. It's a one piece longer spoiler. It looks like a factory modifaction.
