I bought my king from a guy in amarillo texas, it had been sitting in a field he says for 10 years, i just resently took out my carpet because mice had gotten under back seats and crapped all over,my seats are perfect black leather, ecxept for driver seat it has some cracks. I need to know were to go to get new carpet for this car and weather stripping for back hatch and t-tops? my car still has 13,000 miles on odometer, good i think, im bout to put 400 sm block with c-6 trans untill i can rebuild the original block and heads.

400sb and a C6? This isn't going to fit well with out cutting and beating things into place. The C6 will not fit the tunnel without modifications to the tunnel. If you are doing a 351W based motor that isn't going to fit all that well either. The Pass. exhaust is a big problem as the motor sits right of center.

It your car but do you really want to cut up a 13K mile car?

351C and C-6 fit great in My 1977 MustangII...The C-6 fit in the Stock location with the Stock Crossmember without banging or Cutting anything!
