yes....Depends on which version of the 351C,a nd what year you are talking about. 74's are unique. The rest are straight forward. You can use a plate or stock 302 mounts, but you need a different c-4 bellhousing vs. the MII. I will look for some photos. Mine is currently apart being restored.

gonna upgrade the brakes first, will be 11" rotors/5lug instead of the tiny 9" standard size..rear are 10x1-3/4 drums.. so braking is no problem is guess

Yes it was. I'm happy to switch back to a 302! The Cleveland was a Money Pit! with all the over heating problems and it feels just as fast as with the 302 using pump gas vs racing fuel just to Cruze on the Streets and going to Shows. The car was a driver but anything over 50 miles it was much cheaper to trailer it than Drive it. It weighed 3240 and 3mpg(tunnel ram with 2-holley600's and a 5:14 gear) vs now at 2975 and 14 mpg!

I can see that. With the availability of 5.0/ 302 setups, I doubt you will see too many 351c setups. If I were to do something else besides my 4V, I would go with a 351w with 400M crank, 300 ford rods, and get 514 vice a 347.

that's why i want to put a 351C in it, around here a V6 is the commom thing, a 302V8 is somewhat rare. so people will have to take a second look to see whats under there...
