Welcome to M&M!I had a problem with the starters burning up. I replaced almost everything and still had a problem. Then, in a close inspection, I found the fuseable link that goes to the solenoid was burned. Once I replaced it, I was good to go.
If you are burning up the solenoid, chances are that the starter itself may be going out. If you have the skill to take it out, you can have it checked at most automotive parts stores. Check all of your cables and connections. Make sure the cables are not worn, broken or corroded. Also check your battery. A weak battery will drag the starter and heat up the solenoid.
I hope you get the problem fixed.
