This is my first II, I haven't picked it up yet to give more details about it but, I have a good motor and tranny in my 85' stang that will replace whatever the II has in it. I will be needing a lot of help. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hey congrats on your coupe. There are lots of folks here to help with anything from restos to all out race. Is it a 302 car? If so that will make your engine swap much easier.

Hey your not alone, I've owned my II for 3 years and am in the middle of a performance restoration... Like you this is my first II and im still learning, like where the heck can I find motor mounts for the 302, but like everything they will turn up. If you need parts don't give up I searched for an oilpan for 3 months and finally found one in a tiny shop that someone order 10 years ago and never picked up.
And I just want to add a HUGE thankyou to the site designers and eveyone who posts on this site its been a GREAT help to me, YOU GUYS ARE AWSOME
