OK, today I was looking through a Ford Dealership going out of business. They are having an auction Thursday. Upstairs in the loft I found a box with a New rear window blind set, never used, brand new. I'm not sure what you call them, The black slats that go on the rear window, like the 69-70 Boss's had, but these are for the Mustang II. If anybody is interested E-mail me at Ekbeanctr@hotmail and I will bid on them. ErnieAdditional Information from the box - Rear Louvers Part#KM-110 from Korky's Custom Studios. Anybody ever hear of them? ------------------ Have a Wonderful Day CandyApple 65 Fastback 351W, Hooker Super Comps,4 Speed Versaille 9" Rear End Global West Front End [email protected] [This message has been edited by ekbeanctr (edited 06-10-2003).]

The OEM mustang II rear window louvers had eight slats and two support braces on the underside that run from top to bottom. If they are OEM they should have a Ford part number such as D7243-22-AA as an example of a 1977 Mustang II part number I just made up as an example. Mustang II parts start with D, followed by the model year, ie. 7=1977. So it sounds like from your description that they are aftermarket but count the slats and center braces to double check and see if anybody in the dealership like an old timer can verify where they came from. If OEM and mint condition with hinges and latches they are worth $300-500 when found on ebay. If a repro part, they can fetch between $100-200. You don't see the OEM latches or hinges on ebay often so if you can get those OEM parts that's a HUGE bonus. If you can get the front bumper 3 piece trim pieces for a 1977 mustang II let me know at [email protected]. They have to be mint however because I'm in the middle of a 77 cobra II restoration and worn or scuffed up parts won't help me. Also looking for the drivers side and passenger side brushed aluminum dash panels for a 77 cobra II with dual vent openings for A/C. Big buck items that you should try and get from this dealership are: Front grill, front grill cobra snake, side window louvers for cobra II, front and rear spoilers for cobra II, stripe kit for cobra II and basically anything for the cobra II. People are even looking for dealer brouchers, owner's manuals and ads for the mustang II's. But anyways, drop me an email if you have anything I need and good luck with your louver prospect! Frank

But would that be true of the 1976 Cobra IIs? Remember, in 1976, Ford farmed out the Cobras to Motortown...so would Motortown have used Ford parts in their assembly?------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good" '76 Cobra--project

Hey Frank, I just saw a NOS front spoiler on ebay but it was from a 77 and actual part # D7ZZ69001A06-A. I don't imagine Ford farmed out the parts for 76 motortown installations. It probably says if the 76 parts are Ford manufactured, on either mustangii.net or .org somewhere but I'm too lazy to go look The original poster didn't mention a year so i just gave him the generic answer.Taker easy, Frank
