hey guys, i was wondering if any of you have ever replaced a heater core in a unit that had a/c. I'm not sure how to get the box apart w/out breaking it. Its not out of the car yet, but when i put the whole unit in last year, i remember trying to take it apart to clean the inside of it and was not able to. It went together some weird way and i was wondering if there was a trick to it. thanx in advance.

when i took mine apart it had clips that you have to use a screw driver to get off. mine didn't have a/c though. hope this may help you.

thanx for the post, I pulled the heater core yesterday, and was able to get it apart. On the a/c units, the fan and the induction vent has to be removed before the top half of the case can be unscrewed from the bottom half. It was simple really. I don't know why i had such a hard time with it last time. thanx again
