I have my '74 Mustang II coupe, red with white interior and vinyl roof, 2.3L with the C4 trans. What am I going to do? Too many thoughts not enough time or money but getting there. Need some suggestions.

Yes I still have the 64 fairlane, the 67 ranchero, 2-69 E350's, and a cople of 302', c4's, an aod from behind a 302, a 351, a 2.3L out of a truck, the computer wiring harness and all the injection and sensors from a 91 mustng 2.3.

HELP, too much to get a clear head to know where to go.

Do you want to drop in a V8, or be different and hop up the 2.3L?

Well 74 is not the best year of the M2 to do a v8 swap in. can be done but is a pain and it sounds like you have enough projects going on around there anyway. how bout a 2.3 turbo? stick a 5 speed behind it and hang on.

Stay 2.3 Fuel injected etc. or a late model 6.

Leftover, since it is said that a V-8 swap on a '74 would be a pain, then go with a 2.3L Turbo. From my long time spent on the Ford Capri page I know that a few have installed the 2.3L Turbo. The best donor car is the Merkur XR4Ti. The T-Bird/Cougar Turbo's are more a pain because of the wiring harness. Merkurs are simpler. Some have used the Ranger/Bronco II 2.9L V-6.
