Anyone ever try this one? I'd even deal with a cable inside somewhere...

I am thinking that the trunk latch from a mid 70's Lincoln or Ltd is the same or similar..

I've heard that the turbo coupe release is very similar. Lots of tbird/cougers in the yards of that vintage with a release on. But I have not verified that. My car has the lighing group so I have a switch in my latch in the back so I was planning to rig a solinoid from another car just not sure what yet. The Tempo uses a remote solinoid with a cable to release the trunk I was going to look into something like that myself.

I notice your in Port Royal. Thats close, I'm in Altoona. A buddy and I drove right through there last week on the way to Carlisle. He actualy works at Empire as a truck mech. We'll have to hook up at a show if I ever get my car done.

No kidding! I am guessing you took route 74 into Carlisle.. I actually live right on the intersection of 75 and 74... I know nothing about all the black marks on there before the mountain...

I am hoping to have my car ready to go there by next year... Still alot to do yet, but it's a nice thought...

I know what you mean about alot to do. My car is still in pieces. I have the worst of the body work done but I still have a good bit to do yet. If you are interested here is a link to my site.

On a different note has anyone put a power antenna in a II? I wouldn't mind trying this and was wandering if anyone else has done it.
