odds are you will receive very negative comments here. MIIs are getting extremely rare in the wrecking yards!!!!!why, you ask, well most IIs that hit the yard are immediatly seperated from their front ends. Once a car does not move it is then crushed. buy new slowly or reconsider!!!!!!!! please?

If your limited on funds work with what you've got. Most of the early Mustang stuff will interchange. If you don't leave our II stuff alone we will swoop down in the night and kidnap you and tell everyone that you are a GM lover.Luck ------------------ perce111 78T-Top...IAM TOO

Let me see, you want to change the suspension on your car to smaller brakes, lighter duty control arms and weaker springs because????? If your going to use one of these suspensions on a heavier car than it was designed for, you want the upgraded version anyway just to be safe. Even if you have an early 6 cyl Mav, with 4 bolt wheels, the bolt patterns are diffrent and if you have 5 bolt wheels its an pain to find matching pairs of wheels. Kinda makes me wonder how may IIs were junked and then the componets discarded when people found out they had to be upgraded.

If I recall correctly the Maverick and the First Gen Mustangs use the same suspension... There is tons of stuff available that would involve alot less headaches... And that wouldn't get you beaten round here..If you still insist on a MII suspension I would really suggest saving up and buying a new one.. Chances are any of the one's you pick up in a salvage yard aren't in the best of condition anyhow.. I have yet to find a decent set of control arms.... They all seem to be bent or rusty... Anyone ever try straightening these things out and doing some re enforcing?
