OK, Im going to re-buy some books that I lost to water damage and I figured I d ask if one was better than the other. The Tom Monroe book Engine Builders Handbook vs. the Rick Voegelin book The Step-By-Step Guide to Engine Blueprinting. Or is it good to have both, I did have the Monroe book and thought it was good. The other is a Hollander Interchange guide for Mustangs 65-73 vs. the Paul Herd book Ford Parts Interchange Manual. Had a Hollander book but does the Herd book use the same info or would it be good to have both. Steve I think you mentioned that if we use the link you get some money toward the site does that also work with the Osborn link as well?

Ed, Here are a few titles of books that I currently have and use frequently:Ford Parts Interchange Manual by Paul Herd Catalog of Mustang ID Numbers '64 1/2-'93 by Cars & Parts Magazine High Performance Ford Engine Parts Interchange (221 cid to 460 cid) by George Reid How to Rebuild Small Block Ford Engines by Tom Monroe All four have been great sources of information and guidance for me. Lost a bunch of stuff to a leaking water shutoff a while ago and I'm just getting to replacing stuff. The Monroe small block book is the only one that survived but it's falling apart (its the one with the red cover). Found that you can get some Hollander books direct. Hollander Interchange Classic Search Manual III Domestic vehicles, 1954 1966 for $49.95 Hollander Interchange Classic Search Manual IV Domestic vehicles, 1965 1979 for $99.95 Hollander Mustang Manual: 1965 1973 for $24.95 https://https.kinetic.com/adp/orderform.html [This message has been edited by 68 S-code GT (edited 12-31-2003).]

Thanks for thinking of us, Ed. We don't get a commission from Osborn sales, but if you mention you are from our site it helps them feel like it's worth it sponsoring us.The Monroe book is basic, but handy. I haven't seen the other book. I have both interchange books and I think neither are complete enough to be the only interchange book in my library. I'm not saying that to spend your money, just being honest. I got my Hollander book direct from them. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 Open '70 Mustang Convertible 250 I6/3 speed/2.79 Open '72 Mustang Sprint Hardtop 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip
