You will really find that Don Taylor book handy, it's a pretty good step-by-step manual.

Other good ones are the books by Larry Dobbs, such as 'Mustang Recognition Guide 1965-1973' http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0962490822/stevelarivierepe/103-1025413-0725457 and 'How to Restore Your Mustang' http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0962490849/stevelarivierepe/103-1025413-0725457

...another good one is Mustang 1964 1/2-1973 Restoration Guide (Authentic Restoration Guide)
by Tom Corcoran and Earl Davis http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0760305528/stevelarivierepe/103-1025413-0725457
