Saw this on another board and thought I'd share. http://www.fordlovers.com/special The West Coast's First and Only ALL Ford Drag Race - Car Show - Swap Meet The three catagories, Drag race, car show, and swap meet are listed in that order, with bulleted "do's and don'ts" under each heading. The first one listed under drag race is, "must be Ford powered!" The last item listed under swap meet is, "Chevy parts will be confiscated and burned!" I found that hilarious! Stewart

I would think burning the parts is more friendly to the environment than leaving them around?------------------ Greg W. MCA #52100 2002 Laser Red GT Coupe 1991 F-150 XLT 4x2 5.0 Southern Maryland Mustang Club http://mustangsandmore.50megs.com/MembersPics/hwyman3.html

It won't be the only all Ford race on the west coast any more. This August 6th and 7th we are having an all Ford race at Mission Raceway near Vancouver. In addition to the regular brackets we are having heads up classes for the really fast cars (6 seconds)and for the more limited cars (Drag Radial)as well as a True Street style class for regular street cars. Swap meet and big car show too. check www.missionraceway.com and there will be an event website soon. We hope to make it a pretty big event enough to continue next year. There are all Ford events at Bremerton, Seattle and Woodburn but these have been watered down a bit by allowing the orange engines or Fords being a seperate class of a larger event(at Bremerton now)
