The 2005 East Cougar Nationals welcomes all Mercury Cougars to this Cougar Club of America sanctioned show. Sponsored by the Delmarva Cougar Club, this show will feature an XR7-G and Dan Gurney Special (DGS) Reunion and a celebration of Team Cougar's campaign in the 1967 Trans-Am racing series.

All XR7-G and DGS owners are encouraged to attend this special event, as are owners of any year Mercury Cougar.

Special appearance by David Tom of Apache Junction, Ariz., and his original 1967 Trans Am Cougar, one of four that earned the Bud Moore Mercury team a second place finish in the 1967 Trans Am series, barely losing the title to the Ford Mustang.

thanks for the info! although i have missed these in the past i intend to get to one [hopefully] in the near future..... this year would be a good one since i have a DGS... alas i likely wont have any spare time off until much later in the season....

sounds like a great time from the reviews on the cougar forum and the pics are always fantastic...
