LOL!! Oh man, that was too fun. I *had* to do it...not too many times in an Average Joe's life one gets to do that. I won't be jumping the wall this time though...there'll actually be cars racing! ------------------ Frank S.----MCA Member 40390 '03 Mustang GT coupe '99 Mustang coupe '77 Ghia--"II Good"

The Phila. Modifiers come every year. I just got an email from them the other day to say they are coming. Is your uncles name John and has a black 55 Chevy. If so, I know him well. I don't know your uncle, but I know the car. Has a tilt front end. I think there will be about a dozen people from M&M at my cruise night. Sam, Dave and Teri, TomG, and others. Hi all, Dave likes this idea but we won't know if we will be there for some time yet. The Navy don't tell anymore where, when or how long he will be gone. He is doing fine for the most part. We do hope to make it if we can. Terri & Dave ------------------ '65 Mustang Fastback '02 Explorer XLT I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it! http://www.mirdrag.com/http://www.mirdrag.com/directions.htm The facility is Ok... not the greatest but not the worst. I have always found the track staff and local racers to be cool. The President's Cup Event itself is awesome with a good amount of sportsman racers. I've been going to it on and off for the past 20 years and have always had a good time racing and/or being a spectator... well except when it rains or when "Benny the Bomb" stops all of the racing for an hour to blow himself up One piece of advice for MIR... if you are going to sit in the stands, be prepared to wager As far as hotels in the area... there are none real close to the track. It's either Waldorf or Lexington Park. Lexington Park is cool because it is on the Chesapeake Bay and is the home of Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Lot's of cool military aircraft flying around If everything with work is OK I will plan on being there this year... and if I win the MegaMillions jackpot Saturday, I'll be towing a race car too!!!
