The reason I asked is that a fellow worker is looking to buy a Tiger. He has found a couple on the internet and had discussion with the buyers but is still looking. I am not a owner but they are high on my hit list. Would solve some of my parking problems. Open trunk of fairlane install tiger. What's better than a Tiger in you tank? How about a Tiger on your tank. If someone finds a deal that they pass on PLEASE let me know. Larry

I've had two of them, both with souped-up engines. One had a 289 HiPo in it, and the other had a built 302 in it. They were a lot of fun. I started to re-do the second one for autocrossing back in the early 80's. Pulled the 302 out, and shoved a 2.9L Ford V6 in it (shoved WAY back, under the cowl). Had a cage welded in, and some of the bodywork done. About the same time I ran across a deal on a Hertz Shelby GT350 with a blown-up engine. I sold the Tiger to somebody else who put it back to stock. Had a lot of neat cars back then, just not enough garage space.Jeff

Yea, I looked it was a realy nice car needing paint and interior. It was on ebay but about 45 min. from here. I bid with a few min. left and was high bidder with a few grand left from the current bid and my highest. At the very last sec. I was out bid. BIG BUMMER, I checked the other items the winner had won and he was eat up with Tiger wants. I don't think there was any amount I could have bid and got the car. The seller was a realy nice guy. So I guess I made him a little more money and the winner got a realy good car. My hunt continues!!!

I'm really late in posting this, sorry. Never got around to popping in here before. I have a '65 Tiger, built in '64, that still has the 260 in it. If you have any questions, email me and I'll be happy to help you. Steve
