...will be the first GT sold to the public, and at a Christie's auction in Monterey, California last August someone just paid $557,000 {Ford is donating the money to charity} for it, according to what I just read in the Hemmings Muscle Machine magazine.

At the auction, Jay Leno drove one of the white GTs onstage, but the winner of the auction will be able to choose what color his will be when it will be built in the spring.

The first of the GTs will be 2005 cars.
