And right that he did!! For years those replicas have been mass produced by a number of mfrs. with nary a protest. But when his royal highass decided to make some, he sued. How dare them compete with a corporate wh*re like THEE carrol Shelby!!. He, who years later, bought about 12 66 cvs in LA and "Recreated" the original Shelbys just adding on to the list with his numbers. They were not too successful. Then, the wh*re of wh*res joined with Iaca-ca and we saw the SHelby Dodge whatevers! The original Shelbys are masterpieces, and his new Cobra cars are super, for those who can afford one. But once the horse is out of the barn, it's pretty difficult to get them back in. I'm glad the other guy won.

He is a good man and does a lot of good. I admire his stamina and tip hat to him for being able to continue with an uphill health battle. But, he's not a god, and he was wrong, in MNSHO.

Can you believe the gall of him? Seeking to charge every kit owner $10k just for the right of the shape of the body? It wasn't even his body design to begin with. What a Jackhole.

I've lost some respect for a legend. I guess the allmighty dollar drives people, even legends, to extreme measures. What a shame.

He is an automotive genius , but , he is also a money grubbing, self-promoting ego maniac. He did change the face of automotive history , but, that does not give him the right to try and own or order everybody around , I also have lost alot of respect for the man. At the end you are remembered for your actions , contributions to society and decorum, NOT , by how fat your wallet is. This is a sad day for all car enthusiast`s.

It really is sad what Shelby has turned into.

Good! Shelby is too full of himself! He's the one that should be sued, for his jacking up the prices of his new Shelby AFTER he had taken deposits.

To tell you the truth, Shelby Mustangs never did anything for me. I'd rather have a regular Mach 1 anyday.

FF made the 5.0 work on there kits and that made the kit workable for people like use which made them a great company . Carroll should have done all of this copyrighting in 65!
