WHY?? Whats it for... Option? Looks stupid!(IMHO) sam

USA Registered: Dec 1999	posted 01-14-2000 11:16 AM The side running lights in the upper scoops were added for interest I suppose and were wired to come on with the brake lights. What Shelby didn't know at the time was the state of CA didn't allow the use of side running lights installed that high up on the car. They were installed in approx the first 200 cars and then eliminated when Fred Goodell became chief engineer in Sept 66. Personally I think they are pretty cool and an indication that you have an early 67 car. Hope this helps.
