I tried Steve, but it wouldn't let me either. I recieved my welcome email, clicked on it and 'became registered'. However, when I went to post on the new site, it won't let me post either.......sounds like maybe there's a glitch yet somewhere....???? Ryan

Yes, I'm afraid this board is going sour quick. I had tried to delete that post and it did but it didn't index the files so it still appears on the board. Like the lady from tech says, this board is going 'buggy' As long as I can save it as an archive. ------------------

I tried to sign up. says my name or password are wrong. I checked my profile and used the same info. lower case. Checked profile for correct email address it says mine is wrong. O well. I will wait till I can sign up?

I registered. Have not received a welcome email. Does the welcome email contain a password? You set one at registration, but that one doesn't seem to work. I would think since you type one in when you register that you wouldn't need to get a new one in the welcome email. Sorry this is so hard, Steve. I'm sure you're frustrated. I'd offer to help, but I don't know a thing about this stuff. I'm sure you're light years ahead of me on this stuff already.

I did register, and I have checked my spam folder several times. Nada.
I registered around 4:30 and have been waiting for the welcome email since then. I even did the "lost my password" gig and had it attempt to resend my password to me. It says it sent the email, but I havent received it either.

Nope, I still get the same message.
It may be a Bellsouth issue since you havent got the email I sent ya. Our welcome emails may be ~jammed up~ someplace.

For you and kk I found your permissions were not turned on. I have no idea why. They are on now.In the emails I sent you I had changed your passwords trying to get you in. I will post them in the moderator's lounge so you guys can get in, and you can change them later.

I got the email from you with the changed password, but it still wont let me post. I registered on the new site. followed the email instructions etc..
It accepted me, and lets me log in.
I even got a welcome email
But It still hasnt given me permission to post. It also hasnt added me to the members list.Do I need do something here (like close all the browser windows? reset computer?)

All these problems are weird.I found the new page, tried my old log-in (from here), it didn't work, registered at the new forum, got the registration email, and then successfully made my first post all within about 5 minutes. Not sure what I might have done that is different from what Phil did.

I just tried to re-register. I'm not sure, but I think it might work this time. I don't remember for sure, but I don't think I got a message last time saying that it was going to send me an email. This time at least it said it was going to, although I haven't received it....yet....I'll report back.
