I cant say for sure but from what I saw yesterday It wasnt going to hit him head on. But he may well be without power again. Where he lives isnt far from Manila and they were predicting 80+ Mph winds.

Thanks as always for thinking of me This time I'm afraid I didn't dodge the bullet - though my family are all fine. I just got back from Legaspi where I have my country home, and where most of the Stangs are now. My shop there was completely blown away. A wall landed on my 68 Cougar GT, a roof landed on my 68 fastback, etc., etc. Very depressing. Yesterday I had to drive through the areas where hundreds of people were buried by lahar flows triggered around Mayon volcano by the incredible rain. You could see and smell death everywhere. Very very shocking. I had to drive north just to get some cash, since all the banks - well, everything really - have been knocked out. And in a way the worst moment was two days ago, when some b*stard called a radio station and said a tsunami was coming. We were driving around at the time, looking for food, and suddenly the whole town went crazy, with everyone driving like lunatics and crashing into each other. That lasted about an hour, while my wife (who was in the car) screamed hysterically about the kids at home. All grim, very very grim. I've sent some cash by courier and will go back myself in a few days with as much food and water as I can carry. Errrrggghhhhh!

Glad to hear you and your Family are OK Simon, but it's sad about your vehicles in the same moment. That's got to be a nightmare come true, and it will be a while before everything is back to "normal" if you can call it that. Good to hear from you though my friend, and take care as best as possible. If there's anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to ask, I will do whatever I can for you.
