Well, we just found out the news...gonna be a Christmas baby this year. Chad's going on 14 months so they'll be two years apart. Pretty exciting.

Almost have my own pit crew!

Congratulations. How wonderful for you. However, X-mas babies can be trouble.
Our oldest is Dec. 23rd and it was always hard for him because he could never have birthday parties with his friends because their parents couldn't afford the extra gift at Christmas and felt bad if their kids came without a gift. So our idea was a Happy Un-Birthday. You celebrate several months before. Another word of advice. Never say there is an extra gift under the tree, never give them a birthday card or cake with a Christmas theme. It is their special holiday not to be shared with any other.
But what a special Christmas Gift for your whole family. Congratulations again.

Trish

Congrads to you two! That explains, a lot.

Mas,
It's not the water, it's those long times away from each other when the military calls. It's hard to leave for extended periods of time, but it's A LOT of fun getting home.

Congrats Sam Yeah, my Dad knows all about getting short-changed on gifts, being a December 24 baby. But there can be a huge upside. He's the only one in the family who has the whole mob turn up for his birthday.

I actually once did a scientific survey of this! I was on a Japanese whaling ship in the Antarctic for five months, and I sampled 30 or so of the crew to see when their kids were born. Something like 80% were born 10 months after returning to port!

If it comes in before the new year you'll get a LOT more back on your 2005 tax return!

$1000 child tax credit (which is $1000 right in your pocket), plus another $3100 dependent to claim JUST IN TIME for the 2005 tax returns!

If she looks like she'll go past the new year, have them INDUCE LABOR!

Woo-Hoo!
