Maybe that was your turbo tax problem? You must have put in the state.------------------

Nope, my TurboTax problem was that after I had spent all day inputting my data it asked me to download the most recent updates before I finalized my return. After I did that I went to resume my return it had corrupted the file I created along with the previous years files I had on disk.Going on TurboTax's web site I discovered that was a common problem, and to 'just' do my return over again.  Aside from that, it was just puffy. ------------------

I bet that with Maine being the least tax friendly state Turbo Tax updates the increase so often that it just can not keep up and that is what corrupted the files. Or did you happen to notice if the person who sold it to you was wearing a bow tie??------------------

Yep NY is up there. We pay a 9% county tax on top of that number.

This was on the federal return. I wouldn't waste the money on a state return, you can do those drunk and blind. We got it at a Walmart's, so they probably were wearing a bowtie.
