Taking the month of April off to go sailing in the carribean. My wife and I are meeting my Dad and his 1st mate in Puerto Rico. The flight in takes us to San Juan (north side)then we'll rent a car and sightsee along the west coast then drop off the car in Ponce (south side). From there, we hop on board my Dad's 34ft Bristol sailboat and head east through the Virgin Islands and eventually hook it south finishing up in St. Lucia. I'm pretty stoked about the upcoming adventure. I'll miss you guys! JD

That's AWESOME! Just finished a book that makes me want to run off to a boat in Carribean. Jimmy Buffett's "A Salty Piece of Land." Great read! You're doing it, that's just great! Take lots of pictures for us.J.

Wow, that sounds exciting! My GF and I are taking sailing lessons in a couple of weeks. She already knows how to sail, but I'll be bringing my sea sick tablets along. Have a fun and safe trip.------------------ reliving youth

Greetings from Dominica! Things are pretty darn hot here, but my tan is coming along nicely! I've taken some nice pics and I'll try to post them when I return. The trip's been great so far, except for the tranmission R&R in Puerto Rico (pics later), off to St. Lucia next. Miss you guys! Johnny D.
