I sent this thought to Alex after reading on a post that he was going to have to cut back on his racing events due to the higher cost of gas. I am guessing that his crew cab pulling Money Maker would get about 5 gallons to the mile. I thought it would seem a decent gesture from all the Ford enthusiasts who Alex has so willingly helped. His reply was he would never think of asking friends to help sponsor. I am new to this but it seems to me that if everyone pooled something to help with his costs that we all can enjoy seeing him smiling at the next award ceremony. After all can't we offer to help sponsor so we can keep a Ford at the top? I hope someone knows how to set up a plan or idea of how we can set up a account or fund. I did send out the concept and got this as a reply. "$2 from 3000 people would go a long way for gas. Alex is a great guy and he does offer free advice all the time." I grew up hearing that good things happen to good people and in the few months I have been here I have seen Alex putting allot of work and advice into all of us needing his ability, so I felt he deserved a offer. =========== Below is what I sent him and he turned me down so I thought I would by pass him and put it in the peoples hands and see what happened. ======== Alex, Was just wondering if you ever had the idea to see if all the thousands of people you have helped and saved them hundreds of thousands in advice and answers would be willing to chip into a pool to help with the higher gas prices so you did not have to cut back on races? I figure that if everyone chipped in a couple of bucks you could drive the crew cab a few extra places and we could see a Mustang at the top and not something else? Don't know if you and Steve would want to pose it or not but it was just a idea. Maybe a sticker on the back saying something like " with support from friends and family at www.mustangsandmore.com At least it would give the other makes something to read at the end of a run.------------------ -1974 351w Block Bored .30-1969 351w Heads Fully Ported -Custom made Ford 9" with 3" Axle Tubes-28 Detroit Locker-3.73 Gears-Shelby Traction Bars Pics Michael

Sorry we couldn't do the decal thing last year. It turned out to be so far out of budget, with such a large initial order needed and just couldn't be done timely enough nor would they have been very durable to fit in the budget. We are not out of options, and I have not forgotten!! ------------------ Beth "My best friend is the one who brings out the best in me." - Henry Ford (for Alex) Alex & Beth's Homepage MoneymakerRacing.com

Count me in for the 06 season, go give-em hell Alex. A healthy diet of about two camaros and a firebird per day will make that Moneymaker machine fast, fast, fast! Throw in an occasional challenger or charger just for good measure. Check's in the mail and good luck this season Barry70Stang
