Thanks for the reminder, I enjoyed it. Too bad they only showed a 429Boss and not all Boss Mustangs. They sure did like the 71-73 models. They claimed the 71 429 to be the baddest of all Mustangs. I own one and think my little Boss302 is right there with the big block. ------------------ 70 Boss 302, 71 429 Mach1, 86 RX7 GLX 02 Z06 Vette

Many technical mistakes as usual on that show. 69 351 Cleveland as standard?????? ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! Other than the 1969 351C error...I thought it was pretty good. Being a fan of the 1971-1973's made it all the better. My only big complaint was too much time was spent on the 1974-1978's...and No attention at all was given to the K-Code Boss 429's that homologated the 429 Boss Engine for NASCAR in the 1969 Talladega.

The episode was about the Mach 1 LFF. They already did one specifically on the Boss cars.------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! There were a few other mistakes. The 69 Mach 1`s came with Magnum 500`s? OH, Really? Also, the 428CJ came with "high rev valvetrain", my 428 CJ`s had the same non adjustable cast iron rocker arms as my 74 trucks old 360 2 barrel did.Oh well, if they got their facts right, what would we complain about?------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed 10.20@130mph 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA M/Stock 302 5speed. Yeah those chrome magnum 500's must've been used up on all the mach 1's and that's why they had to use argent on the 69 boss 302. Apparently the 69 Mach came with Cobra/Sebring wood steering wheels instead of the woodgrain rimblow I'm used to seeing.

I watched it late last night. Unlike the other I don't know what options came with what years car. So I enjoyed the show, but I always take TV information for it's face value. ------------------ oddly obsessed with big scoops on little Mustangs 65 coupe 351w C4 Big Boss 429 hood scoop,8" 3.40 TracLoc.
