Had dinner the other night with a buddy and his family and heard a funny story about Dad coming home and telling the wife and kids about work. He had done a training mission to the local bombing range that day, and said something to the affect of "I got my bombs off on the first pass and blew up the Target..." (Pilots sometimes make a switchology error and can't release the bombs on the first try, and have to circle around and try again ...thus the joy of releasing them on the first pass).

So, his son, a 5 year old, whispers to mommy, "does that mean we can't go shopping there anymore?"

I thought it was pretty funny, something worthy of "Humor in Uniform" in Readers Digest, but not sure if anybody else would see the humor in it.
