On the way back from my nephew��s birthday party my wife went a way we normally go but since I wasn��t driving I saw a lot more. In a 20 minute drive I saw two 66 fastbacks, a 66 coupe, two older Broncos and a 70-71 Torino. All were back in peoples yards waiting for that day to be restored that might never come. What have you seen in your travels lately?------------------

driving down the 15 from Victorville there are about 200 burned out cars from the California fires last year and sadly at least 3 older Mustangs can be seen as shells.------------------

Okay, so not Fords, but a couple of days ago, I saw a 69 Dart, primered and lowered for sale. I also saw a 62 Nova on jacks waiting for that day of restoral to start.------------------

These didn��t have any signs in them. I saw a 66 or 65 Galaxie 2dr that looked like it had 7 Liter emblems on it. I��ve been past it plenty of times but yesterday the cover was blowing off it. I know a guy that has a 63 Vett corvette that he has own since new that has spent the last 30 years sitting under his deck.

My daughter's ex boyfriend's dad had the 66 vette he bought new in high school sitting in his barn. Has been there for almost 20 years. He does keep it clean and starts it. Knowing him for awhile I was surprised when I found out he had it. Also down the street since I moved here in 84 you can see two Roadrunners sitting in a back yard on a corner lot through the fence boards. Never been moved or covered.------------------

Saw a 71 Torino 500 today for sale. Body has some rust but is supposed to have the original 83k 302 in it. A friend of mine knows were there is a 68 Shelby convertible is sitting in the yard of a house. Its been sitting there since 69 or 70 when the son went to war. He came back fine physically but not mentally and the car has sat under a tarp since.

a yellow 64 1/2 mustang sitting a few blocks from me. been there for at least 25 years. i remember when the man bought it new for his daughter. 289 auto car. has never been touched, all there and all original. of course he wont even talk about getting rid of it. out in the open with about 1/2 of a cover on it.  ------------------
