Just took a jump here. Went to $2.03 and heard tonight on news it will be going higher. What are you looking at? Really hurts when you have a 40 gallon tank(s) on a f150.

$2.07 Gas here is always higher than most of the country. LA & TX are the cheapest in the south.

I saw it jump from 1.89 to 1.95 in the last couple of days. Expect more increases.

I drive about 400 to 450 miles a week just going to work and back and going to church, shopping etc... I have a car that does about 30 miles per gallon so it costs me about 30 dollars a week, or 120 a month, add my wifes car which is also a nice 30mpg car and we got about a 200 dollar a month bill for gasoline. 200 a month is more than some peoples car payment - and thats with 2 very efficient cars. I cant imagine how much money some people are pouring down the drain by driving SUVs and big pickups. I guess my mileage must be higher than average...

whatever happened to those loyalty gifts?
My parents always had new tumblers and pint glasses from the gas station.

I dont even go inside anymore, just swipe my card, pump my gas and im gone in a couple of minutes.

Does anybody remember back in 1969 when somebody (I think it was Gulf) was giving away a folding paper model of the lunar space module? You would punch out all the pieces and then fold and lock them together to make a 3D model. It was cool! Also 9 yrs old at the time.

Cost me over $60.00 to fill my F-150 on Thursday @ $1.79 a gallon. Yesterday morning, the same station was $1.85 and in the afternoon it was $1.89. Can't wait to see what this afternoon brings!

Got gas yesterday at $1.99........... Yeah I remember when I was in high school in the fifties and worked pumping gas. This man would always come in and get $1.50 worth of gas, that was five gallons> Then he wanted his car vacuumed out, his tire pressure checked including the spare tire and windshield cleaned and that was expected back then. The fun part was cleaning the windshield and checking out the legs and thighs of the woman and sometimes really getting an eye popping view.

Stations always follow each other on price changes. The kicker is that usually no one gets a new fuel delivery--they just change the price. The price of the gas they already had never changed but their signs sure do.

My understanding is the gas is paid for when it is sold to the customer. More like the stations are middle men than anything else...

$1.93 for regular, $2.03 for my damn Mitsubishi...

But they have to pay the higher price to replace the gas you just pumped out of their tanks.

87 is 82.9 cents per litre
or in americaneze - 3.14CDN per gallon

can you tell i'm excited about the torino's 26.5 gal fuel tank?? what a sucker punch to the wallet

some gas station owners own what is in thier tanks, others only make a cut off of what is sold, and the gas company gets the rest. That's how it is up here anyway.
