We went to see it last night at our favorite theater. It was a good movie and Jamie Foxx gave a pretty good performance. Just not academy award worthy good. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member and licensed Superstock driver NHRA and IHRA SS/LA & SS/MA National Record Holder '00,'01,'02,'03,'04 &'05 First SS/MA in the TENS! Any time Hollywood raves about a picture, that's a good sign it's a dud. I don't know how many academy award winning movies I've fell asleep on.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 Open '70 Mustang Convertible 250 I6/3 speed/2.79 Open '72 Mustang Sprint Hardtop 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip

We rented that movie today. I actually thought it was one of the better movies I have seen lately. I thought Jaime Fox did a great job as Ray Charles. Compared to some of the crap that is coming out of Hollywood, I can see why he won the Academy Award!------------------ Greg W. I saw it on DVD, thought it was ---OK. JF mimmicked Ray pretty good. Hollyweird praises their own, especially if its a Gay, minority, or both. They dont live in reality. If they play a Jew then they are the authority on antisemitism, if they play a southern black, then they call everyone in the south a racist, play a gay (if indeed they are acting) then they march in a gay parade. They do not know where acting stops & reality begins. Because of their notoriety they spread their opinions s all across the medias, an example is Michael Moore & Farehieght 911. Bad thing is they do have some influence on the gullible.
