Today just after I returned from lunch my boss calls me into his office & tells me I am let go & wont be working there any more.Things were starting to get strained between us lately & I expected something to happen soon so it was not a suprise, but he could at least told me before lunch. I still have 1 weeks salary comming & 1 weeks pay for vacation I earned. I already filled out a couple applications & had 1 interview for a possible replacement job in the last week just by the feeling I was getting there that something was going to happen. Well I will take a week off & work on the kitchen. Sorry for the long winded bable but I had to get that off my chest. AAhh I feel better now.------------------ Mike & Robin Grentus, Owners/Innkeepers A Wolfpack Bed & Breakfast 6700 Rts-5&20 Bloomfield, NY 14469 (585)657-4863 65 Mustang Fastback 69 Mustang Coupe 99 Explorer Sport 00 Ranger XLT Extd Cab 4X4 M&M #- 890 MCA #- 4549 See us at www.wolfpack-bnb.com

Mike, Sorry to hear about the bad news...but at least you saw the writing on the wall and started getting your feelers out early. Job loss..or the threat of job loss is something I have lived with every day since Sept 11 2001 , so I more than understand the strain of impending doom. Since Sept 11 2001. My company ( a Major US Airline) has shrunk from 46,000 employee's to about 25,000 employee's. Many jobs have been lost through draconian measures known in the corporate world as Force Majure...or as we call it "Forced Manure" This month hundreds more will be taking early retirement..or Voluntary Furloughs that are a far cry from what they had just months ago. Early retirement sounds nice..but with the Retiree Medical Insurance being gutted..it ain't much to bragg about when you are not actually at qualified Federal retirement age. Most friends I know whom have been gone for some time now..have all recovered..and in most cases moved on to jobs with better conditions , schedules...and sometimes better salaries. Like it has been said..When one door closes..another always seems to open. Keep a positive attitude..be receptive to change...and go with Gods graces. The main thing is the positive attitude..as it will shine through on your interviews coming up. Good Luck...and get this setback behind you quickly. ------------------ 2000 Crown Victoria (Performance and Handling Package. 1994 SVT Ford F-150 Lightning 1988 Turbo Coupe Thunderbird (5-Speed) 1988 Crown Victoria Police Package (Modified to the max) 1968 Torino GT (Fastback) 351C 4V with B&M C6 Tranny

Mike, Sounds like you had already spotted the writting on the wall and had started to move on. No worries my friend. You will find a much better job that you are happy with. No sense working some where that you aren't happy. Make the best of the situation and get into something you like doing. Mike, what do you do seeing as though I live near you I might know of or heard of an opportunity you might be qualified for. Jobs seem pretty stable around here and the job market is pretty good in my opinion. Sorry to hear about your bad luck but this could be a blessing in disguise. Keep your chin up and you will find something soon. Depending on what you line of work is, I might be able to help.------------------ Kent '68 Falcon wagon stock 289 '65 Fairlane 500 wagon 10.5:1 351W '78 Fairmont wagon 10.5:1 302 '76 Pinto wagon 392 stroke '01 Focus SE DOHC 2.0L '04 Explorer XLT 4.6 3.73 trac lock What is this FE fixation for which there seems to be no real cure? Sorry, Mike, losing a job stinks. But if it's a job you didn't like, it was no loss anyway, right?I believe like Ed that when one door closes another one opens. Every time I've lost a job I've gone on to better things. Sometimes that's life's way of giving you a little inertia so you don't get stuck in a rut. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 Open '70 Mustang Convertible 250 I6/3 speed/2.79 Open '72 Mustang Sprint Hardtop 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip
