since the thunderbird forum doesnt see much activity i posted this here. sorry steve. Im looking for a good tire. reasonably priced but im more worried about the tread wear and traction. for good traction you need a sticky tire which chews up tread. i want something that is going to last a while. another main point is good all weather tire have to drive in snow (heavy at times) and rain you name it. so to sum it up a long lasting good all weather performance tire for my thunderbird. ive came up with some options: yokohama avids bfgs traction t/a which have a bad tread wear report and the bridgestone pontenza G009s which have better tread life but lack some traction, whats your feelings

what size are those rims ? If you are interested, Ive got some brand new (less than 100 miles) set of tires for 14" rims that I'll let you have for a song.

16s... the stock tire is, 225/60 R16 im just oging to replace with that size.

Im going with bridgestone Potenza G009's from the tirerack 71 bucks apiece from the reviews it gets good snow traction. which i need
