http://cgi.msn.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4528656601&category=39414I bid on this one, couldn't force myself to bid any higher than $6k without seeing it in person. I talked to him on the phone, he said he had a $7950 reserve and if I was still interested to come see it. I don't think I'm willing to give that for it, so I'll just keep looking. ------------------ Stuart MCA #48902 M&M #1091 67 stang 5 speed, 351W, Edelbrock Performer RPM package my photo page

You like the looks of those? The later ones look so much better, but you know what they say about opinions, I guess.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 Open '70 Mustang Convertible 250 I6/3 speed/2.79 Open '72 Mustang Sprint Hardtop 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip

Saw a very good restore/mod candidate the other day on a trailer headed north. I like that body style...customized that is.

Not a bad looking truck. I agree with you on looking at it in person, first. I also preffer the '51 - '53's. Each to their own. Keep on looking and you will find what you are looking for. 51-52's are different than 53's Dave. Grille is similar though. The 48-50's are nicer looking than 51-52 in my opinion... and i even own a 53. I can't seem to get into the 42-47 war era ones but pre-41 are nice.

Tom, Yes, the '51 and '52s are the same and the '53 is different. But I have always liked the big grille in those years. Looks damn good to me and tough. Gotta like that. Old trucks are great. I plan to attend the show in Knoxville, either with a truck or cash in pocket to drive one home. My searches so far have netted either junk or trucks that I like but can't afford.
