after i got the tears out of my eyes, i decided to pass it on. steve if this is not approiate, please feel free to deleat. thanks, mike"Merry Christmas! I need a favor from all of you. As most of you know, I visit Brownwood Nursing Home every day. I've been going since February 200l to visit my aunt. During these visits I've met another resident who has really touched my heart. Her name is Shirley and she has been there quite a few years. She is apparently a stroke victim; having to use a cane with one hand as the other arm is useless. But she is spry and a lot of fun to be around. She has family, I've been told - I've never known of them visiting her. She doesn't have any money for any extras, such as sodas or vending machine treats and she often asks me to bring her something. It doesn't matter what - just a treat! "Little Debbie" goes a long way with her. She told me today that she wasn't going to get anything for Christmas Well I would like to change that! All I ask is for you to take five minutes to send her a Christmas card. All of us have extras, if not you can get one for fifty cents. This plus the cost of a stamp is less than one dollar. You could clean off your dressing table or your purse and find this much. I just know that this would really make her Christmas this year. If you could do this and then pass this e-mail on to those in your address book, I would be most greatful. Remember, this is the season to remember those who are not as fortunate as we are......Her address: Shirley Colbert P. O. Box 2020 Moultrie, GA 31776 Thank you so very much, Karen Williams

What a nice thing to do. One is out for the mailman from us. It is so little to ask and such a big joy to someone else.
