A light dusting in Maine is 5 inches/hour? 1 inch/hour shuts down Maryland. We have a Car Show Sunday for the local Christmas Fund the Va Pilot (newspaper) runs. Forcast..LOL..snow showers..Hear me Carole,Dave & Terri..Snow Showers!! But I'll be there with bells on.. Sleigh bells with my luck

We got about 4-5 inches overnight. thankfully the sky is clear now and there's no more precip in the forecast for several days. I remember years when we had an early big storm, then a mild winter. You know blizzards are the best time to do Christmas shopping. Steve Is your furnce nat gas with pvc venting if its not you might concider getting a 90% furnace. Hows the insulation in your house? Can you tell I am studing HVACR> lol. I know at 37 can you teach and old dog new tricks.lol Bruce

No, it's LPG hot water with a stainless steel vent. I have a super insulated house with 6" walls, etc.I suspect my Honeywell thermostat is number than a hammer pounded thumb. We didn't get much, just 13-15 inches, but some parts of Maine got over 4 feet. Where one of my sisters live, they got 39". Terrible! The wind blew the snow right in. He said he might as well have just left it parked outside.
