A light dusting in Maine is 5 inches/hour? 1 inch/hour shuts down Maryland. If it contiues for more that 8 hours we get disaster aide.

Looks like we're getting a dusting this weekend or 6 inches or so. Maybe that will warm things up around here.

We got about 4-5 inches overnight. thankfully the sky is clear now and there's no more precip in the forecast for several days. Well, I gotta go get on my convertible and plow my driveway, got company coming in from Buffalo! Hey Steve and all you other northerners, misery loves company.

No, it's LPG hot water with a stainless steel vent. I have a super insulated house with 6" walls, etc.

I suspect my Honeywell thermostat is number than a hammer pounded thumb. I've been meaning to change that.

We didn't get much, just 13-15 inches, but some parts of Maine got over 4 feet. Where one of my sisters live, they got 39".

Winter started fast this year.

Terrible! The wind blew the snow right in. He said he might as well have just left it parked outside. I feel really bad that I bought the 'vert and made him lose his storage space.

The 'vert is stored at my house in the other garage. Mike had been parking his Torino here. I offered to park the 'vert outside and let him park the Torino here, but he wouldn't hear of it. I should have insisted.
