O.K., here I am almost 40 years old and never had a traffic ticket in my life. So, whatdoyaknow???? Yesterday, during my lunch break an unmarked city cop is behind me. Hell, I never even saw him until he "beeped" his siren at me.... ...oh, no....what'd I do??? Was I speeding??? Did I run a light???? Did I run a little ole' lady down at the intersection??? Did I weave and he thinks I'm drunk???
Was there a hit and run with another yellow mustang?????? What o what could it be???? He says, I pulled ya over 'cause you're tags are expired. Oh my!! He says, Give me just a minute. And was gone for what seem like forever after I gave him my registration and my license........ When he came back he had a citation!!!! Oh!! I say, Can't you just give me a warning????? Please, Please, Please, Please, Please??????? I promise to take care of it tomorrow! Sorry, ma'am, He says, 'cause your tags expired in JULY!!! YIKES!!!!! How embarassing!!!! How stupid of me!!! Just a busy life, guys......had me a moment of being a ditz, O.K., well a couple of MONTHS of ditz.....just washed and waxed her on Sunday.....drove SheStang on Monday and notice Tuesday the inspection was out on the 'vert....he let me go for that... Here I am just breaking allllllll kinds of laws......I ain't rockin' in no chair!!! I asked him, People ask me all the time if I get speeding tickets in this car.....can I save face and tell them you gave me a speeding ticket instead??? He just shook his head, told me to have a nice day and went away..... yes, I admit, I definately deserved this one....tried like crazy to figure a way to blame the spouse...could think of one or two ways....but....oh well!!

Sorry about the ticket Ked. That does suxs. Doesn't your state send out re-newals a month before your birthday??? In Florida, you always re-new your plates on your birth month. That way any and all birthday money is spent for you. Hang in there GRRL Friend and have fun with your friends about this ticket. You don't have to tell them what it is for, just that you got one. Don't worry sweetie The last speeding ticket I got was in '71. (knock on wood) The next time an Officer (Va Trooper) pulled me over was for those dang dark headlight covers I had on going to the 25Th Mustang Party.$78 bucks that cost me and the Va Trooper had the nerve to wish me a Happy Birthday and tell how nice the 95 'Vert look

I know how you feel Ked. This past April I got the same ticket, my birthday is in May. :/ The cop that pulled me over asked for my registration and I pulled it out. Then he said whats the date on that. After I looked I noticed that it was from the previous year, started looking for the correct one and he said not to bother because he had already checked. Well for the life of me I couldn't figure out how in the world I could have gone 11 months on an expired tag. Then it hit me.... I had back surgery in April of last year and wasn't able to drive for a few months and that was right when I needed to get the new tag, lol. Man, one more month I would have made a whole year, lol..

No, I haven't heard! Tell me more!! Oh, and what's with this "I'm almost 40" crap?! I'm almost 37....which is almost 40 as well, and I'm just getting started. I know that last sentence contradicts a prior post I made a couple of nights ago, but sometimes you just have to accept things for what they are and say "what the *u#@". ------------------ Sub Stanger/1990 LX 5.0 convertible (AOD to T5 conversion....completed)& the meat in the famous "SUB SAMMICH"!
