The local antique car club had it's annual all-day show, so of course I had to be there. Pretty good turnout, a little over 100 cars. Started at 8:00AM, at around 9:00 we had a brief, very light rain. 3 hours later, while some guys were just finishing wiping down their cars, the skies REALLY opened up. I'm talking mini-hurricane. Everybody huddled under the temporary canopies while trying to keep them from blowing away, not so much for protection from the horizontal rain, but because they would have damaged a lot of nice cars. After about 45 minutes, the rain stopped and the sun came out, and it got HOT. Ended up soaked & sunburned, but I must say, it beat being at work. Met a few new Mustangers, hopefully they'll show up here soon.

Hey, I still had a good time. This time of year, I wouldn't mind if it rained all day every day except for my days off. Trouble is, it's usually the other way around.
Dave, good to see you posting again. I'll be at work tomorrow. Turn a couple of wrenches for me!

Sounds like you had fun with show despite the weather. We are heading to a show in North Carolina in a bit and are hoping the weather will hold off. 40% chance of rain this afternoon. We shall see. Have fun working on the Mach 1.
