alrighty, jacked up the Maxtang the other day to look at the h-pipe, 4 cats, whatever whatever, and i noticed what seems to be the oxygen sensors near the headers, and i also seen a small pipe runing along the left pipe and right before the 'H', the small pipe broke of into a Y and went into the pipe and across to the other pipe. what is this?? and i also noticed another small pipe above the H thats broken off, no clue what that is. would i be able to put in an aftermarket off road h-pipe easily with all those pipes and oxygen sensers?also, what does that stupid smog pump (air pump) really do anyways?? i wanna pull the thing off but theres too many hoses, the car might not run. ------------------ Max -1989 Mustang GT (MaxTang) 225/50R15 tires BBK Strut Brace K&N Filter 4 cats, no muffs 180* stat Member 1,861 "The Horses Shake You Harder Than Sex, the Sounds Ring In Your Ears, Fact Is Your Engines Only on Idle"

The tube is the air injection tube from the air pump. Most "off-road" H-pipes have bungs for the O2 sensors and a fitting for the air injection tube. You just cut your tube off in the appropriate place and fill the gap with a high temp hose that you can get at most exhaust shops.
