I just received a message from "dls52" with a subject of "On Mustangsandmore.com". Attached to the email was a .pif virus within an html document. It did me no damage since my anti-virus program caught it. I just wanted to alert everyone that it appears that some rat bastard is gleaning email addresses off this site for the sole purpose of spreading viruses.

V8 Thumper,Do you like Norton? I need to get a new virus detecting software. My computer crashed a week ago and I lost everything. I had stuff on there since '97. I had to restore it to the original format. These viruses are going around and if I ever find out who sent it so help me god. ------------------

Hey Jackie  I've had Norton Anti-virus for almost one year; it's caught maybe 7 or 8 critters in that time. Mind you, I 'surf safely', but the ones it has caught have been repaired/quarantiened immediately. In fact, I'm intending on re-newing my subscription to the update service at the end of my current term. It's soooooooooo worth the peace of mind IMHO
