Noticed the opening ceremony begins at 5p.m. Pacific but we are getting tape-delayed at 7:30 p.m. out here on the west coast. Are you getting it live out on the east coast? Joyce, are you going to the opening? Heard today we have more security forces in Salt Lake City than in Afghanistan. Opening ceremony should be spectacular

I don't plan to watch any of the ceremony or the games. I might take a glance at the women's figure skating, though.

Watching the SLC news tonight.. They reported that last night just an hour or so before the Opening Ceremonies,,, an unidentified airplane came into the no fly zone and wouldn't respond to the radio calls to divert their path...

Two F-16's were dispatched and immediately confronted the PRIVATE plane... The pilot finally answered the radio,,, saying he didn't have to follow air space rules and declared DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY... The F-16's pilots,,, being very convincing made the pilot change his course and chased/escorted him all the way to Colorado...

Turns out it was one of the IOC Members... Thinking they got to play by a different set of rules...

The best part of it all,,, we weren't APOLOGIZING for his inconvenience...

Let's Roll...

Don
