Here's how I upgraded and improved the front suspension on my '87 Turbocoupe by installing caster-camber plates and coil over conversions. Made a tremendous difference in handling.HTH. ------------------ JR's Place - My '87 Thunderbird Turbocoupe [This message has been edited by JoeCool (edited 07-14-2005).]

The total cost was somewhere around $1500. The new control arms are not needed, you can do the coil over conversion using the stock a-arms. I used the tubulars because (1) they weigh about 8.5 pounds versus 13.5 for the stockers (5 pounds saving per side) and (2) I had to remove the originals anyway to install the urethane bushings, so I figured what-the-heck, lets do it all. This was the first money I spent on the suspension since I bought the car new in '87, so again I just went for it.------------------ JR's Aerie - Our 3 TC's
