I am not sure what you will incure as I don't own a 4.6 motor but I would messure from the bell housing to the tail shaft and compare both. one might be shorter. also look at where the trans mount is located and see it that is different as well. then check the spline output of the transmission to see if they are both the same. other than that I can not offer you anything. Bruce But I am sure someone will come to your aid soon. This site is awesome.... Oh yeah And welcome to M&M!!!!!

The 94 has a 4R7OW transmission, which is a improved version of the AODE, electronic controled OD trans. The Mustang standard trans will need a modified shifter since the Mustang one would come up under the front edge of the dash. Detailed information can be found on this site. http://forums.tccoa.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4Here is a tech artical that completely covers putting a T45 into a 94-97 Tbird with a 4.6 http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/T45/index.html Tons of great info on the 89-97 Birds. ------------------ 1993 Tbird 393 stroker, 3500 RPM converter http://members.tccoa.com/393bird/ [This message has been edited by 393Bird (edited 05-25-2005).]
