I have a 1980 Ford Thunderbird that needs a new engine. I need to know what is involved in swaping a 351W from a 1981 van to replace the 255 in my T-Bird, other then the oil pan? Thanks! Angie (for my Dad Don)

Motor mounts will be the same. You will need a distributor for a 351w if you don't have one. The oil pan as you mentioned. You will have to check on some clearance issues for the exhaust manifolds because the deck height of the 351w is taller than the then 255,289,302. Other than those items should just be a drop in.
