hELLO FRIENDS MY WIFE FELL IN LOVE WITH A 65. IT IS TURQUOISE BLUE WITH A WHITE TOP AND A 390 ENGINE. IT NEEDS A LOT OF WORK. THE BODY IS IN PRETTY GOOD CONDITION BUT IT NEEDS NEW FLOOR PANS, FRONT BUMPER,BATTERY APRON, HEADLINER,CARPET,DASH,NOT TO MENTION SEATS NEED TO BE RECOVERED. IS $1700 A FAIR PRICE. IS THERE ANY SOURCES FOR REPRODUCTION PARTS. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIAED. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

They sure are cool cars and they definitely have a following. The parts are out there, not as abundant as Mustang stuff but you can get by I'm sure.

I am looking for information concerning factory performance/aftermarket speed parts (1958/1960) used on the MEL (Mercury-Edsel-Lincoln) (Also Thunderbird 59/60) Engine Series (383-410-430-462) produced from 1958 thru 1968.

Also older FORD Special Service Tools
