Are there any parts interchangeable with a Mustang or other Ford other than the drivetrain? I think up to 88 was a Fox body but what is the 89-97?

A much improved animal. When you have a chance, study the front suspension, the later IRS and the 4.6L (early still had 5.0L). The MARKV III is on an extended MN-12 platform. Beautiful automobile.

Correct, 89-97 Tbird, Cougar and 93-98 Mark VIII are mostly interchangable. With the Mark, you may need to swap a bunch if you do it, since most of the body panels are unique, but as a group, will swap. Ford really screwed up dropping all 3, and coming out with toy replacements. I think GM is making the same mistake with the Camaro and Trans Am. They should of merged them to keep one of them.
