Roger, head up to a wrecking yard, & try to find a Fairmont,Zephyr,Mustang or Capri with manual steering. They aren`t too common, but they do exist, normally in stripper 4 cyl. cars.You may also find a manual brake setup as well. The manual rack itself is only about 1 lb lighter, but getting rid of the PS pump,lines,& brackets adds up. You can also buy a manual rack from Lordco, or auto parts stores, from Moog. One thing to watch for is that the splined shaft on the manual rack is smaller, so you will need that as well. When I pull a man. rack out of a car, I just take the intermediate shaft as well, although you could just remove the splined section from the "rag joint". Happy hunting!
